Holiday recap...

Now that the holidays have come and gone, I thought I'd write about it! Christmas was fun. Scott and I had decided that we weren't going to do gifts this year because we're spending money updating the house. (yeah right) Scott was surprised with the dartboard and dartboard cabinet I got him and I was surprised with a new microwave!! Yep, you know you're old and married when you get excited about a new microwave and the counterspace it will allow in the kitchen! He also bought me a pink fishing rod! I'll be sure not to leave that one in his boat. We had a great time spending the holidays with our families. It was busy, but always good to get together with everyone. We spent the new year at a friends house in Birmingham. We stayed up until 3 am playing 80's Trivial Pursuit and True Colors. Scott and I bombed at Trivial Pursuit, but True Colors is an awesome game! We then spent all of New Years Day watching football. As for now, we're continuing to work on the house. We've almost finished the "game room" which we've tiled, painted, and put new base boards down. Next we're getting a free pool table from a friend! We're throwing a Tool and Gadget party for some friends at the first of February so we're really trying to finish a lot of projects!
We finally got the wedding video back after a long 9 month wait. Scott was pretty frustrated at how long it took and kept saying that I could've had a baby by now. In which I replied with, "Shut up! That's not even funny." I can say; however, that the video is awesome! It's so great to be able to watch, in action, everything that happened and was said that day. It was money well spent.
Scott started a new job last week working for International Wines as a salesman. He really enjoys it. He works out of Tuscaloosa and is in charge of ordering wine for most of the grocery stores and some restaurants.
