Jake got married!!

No, I'm not talking about my dog!!! Jake Parker got married last Saturday and as always the "dance girls" got to hang out and chat. I miss them sooo much!!! We even got Jake away from the bride for a pic!

I finally took the plunge and got my hair cut off!! I've been thinking about it for a while. It's just too hot to have all that hair!!! My hair has never ever been this short.But it feels so much better!

Memorial Day 2008

We went to Orange Beach over the holiday weekend. We have some friends who have a house there, so Free Place To Stay! We had a great time. Chloe stayed behind, but it was Jake's first trip to the beach. Seriously, we treat these animals like humans. Anyway, here are some pics!

Saturday, some friends and I hosted a shower for our friend Starla who is getting married July 19th. She got a lot of gifts! Then Sunday, there was a tea at Mom's church for Jake Parker and his fiance. They got a lot as well! Believe it or not, I got a wedding gift as well! Jake's aunt never got to give me my gift from last year! Here's some pics:

Yes, we have a new addition to our family! Scott bought a chocolate lab yesterday. We finally decided to name him Jake, but haven't come up with his "official name" for the registration. Chloe had a hard time with this at first, but she's beginning to warm up to the idea of having a new playmate!

Julie came to Tuscaloosa with the kids, so we took them to the park to play following a fun time in the mall! lol
