Our first christmas!

Some pics of our first Christmas together. I love this holiday!

Family photo!!

Our house! (Scott got stuck on the roof after putting up the icicle
lights! I had to pull his truck to the front of the house so he
could jump!) It was hilarious!
I couldn't resist when I was wrapping presents!
The stockings

Our first tree! I had to wait a little longer to put it up so that
Scott could lay the new tile! (there used to be green carpet!)

Jeep woes

So, just when I think my car ,that has 114,000 miles, is going pretty good, it lets me down. The Jeep decided yesterday that it was tired of the passenger side window so it would just let it go. I'm in Greensboro, AL yesterday to see a patient, which is about 45 minutes south of Tuscaloosa, and as I'm driving in the middle of nowhere my passenger side window slowly begins to drop. Luckily it wasn't raining or cold! So I pull over, pull the window back up and shove a folded up Papa John's coupon into the top to hold the window in place and down the road I go. Well, this didn't work too well. The window begins to slowly drop again. At this point, I'm not stopping again. Meanwhile, the Papa John's coupon is hanging on and my hair is blowing all in my face! I pull my hair back and make it back into town so that Scott could try to fix it. Well, the part we need is like $250 so Scott's dad is trying to get it for us for cheaper! Scott has already taken the panel off the door and unhooked everything. So all of my doors won't lock unless I lock them manually! For the time being, there are four pieces of folded up cardboard stuffed in the top of the window and a paint roller under the window to hold it up until we get it fixed! How whitetrash are we!

Well, nothing much has been going on here. Except the fact that my speech license expired unexpectedly (thanks to the state). So last week until Thursday I couldn't see any of my patients. But that's all straightened out now. Oh, and Roll Tide! The Tennessee game was awesome!!! Just hopin' for a win this weekend!!! As for now, we're just hangin' out in Northport enjoying the married life!!!

We had a pig roast yesterday!!!

I have to say it, "Roll freaking Tide!!!!!!!!!!!!" In case you are unaware, Bama beat Arkansas 41-38 yesterday! Ha ha. It was an awesome game. Yeah, we slacked off a little after the half, but totally redeemed ourselves in the end. It was an end to a perfect weekend! With Auburn losing to State and Tennessee losing to Florida we couldn't have asked for a better day! It was a great feeling to know we have a coach who completely believes in his team! ROLL TIDE!!!!

Rammer Jammer Yella Hammer!!!

Football season has officially started!! Yesterday was awesome!! We started tailgating around 10:00 and had about 20-30 people there with us. The game was great! Of course it was a blowout so we left at the end of the third quarter and went back to our tailgate to watch the auburn and tennessee games. That's right...like I said before... we go all out! We have the flat screen and satellite going at all times! I won't even get into how lucky Auburn is...haha. But really, they are. It really was a great day of being with friends, eating, football, and more eating! Can't wait for Arkansas!

New Orleans

At the beginning of August we took a trip to New Orleans with some friends for Liz's 30th birthday. She had no idea we were all going down there! In case you can't tell she's the one in the red dress with the bday crown! We had an awesome time, but New Orleans is definitely a different place!!! Brian and Liz play in the band that we used for the reception at our wedding. We also tailgate with them during football season. We've become really good friends with them and love 'em very much!

Chloe

I guess you can call me Parrott

Hey Y'all! Just thought we would jump on the blogging wagon as well! We just got married in April and now enjoying newlywed life. I'm now a Parrott! ha ha! That's right...Jill Parrott. That's one I never scribbled on my paper during class! What we do for love! Ha! We now live in Northport, Alabama. Our house is right down the road from Lake Tuscaloosa, so Scott is in heaven since he loves to fish! We have a 3 year old shih tzu, Chloe. She thinks she's human. Probably because we treat her that way! Scott works for MBC United Wine Sales and I'm speech therapist working for Amedisys Home Health. We love
Alabama football. Roll Tide! We have some great friends that we tailgate with every home game. We go all out. We're talking tents, chairs, tv's, satellite, food, etc. It's so much fun! Scott and I just got our hands on some great season tickets so we're even more excited! 2 more weeks!! ROLL TIDE!
