I failed to mention the tacky Christmas party that my friends and I had! We all dressed up in our tackiest Christmas attire, ate great food, and exchanged gifts. Here are some pics from the party and other Christmas activities!

I'm sad that Christmas is over! We had a great one though. Scott and I traveled to Birmingham Wednesday night to have Christmas with my family. We had a good time eating, talking, and eating some more! We stayed at mom and dad's Christmas Eve since Julie and the zoo would be coming down Thursday night. We ate lunch with everyone Christmas day then the zoo arrived around 6 that night. The kids had so many gifts to open! We all enjoyed playing with them! We had Chloe and Jake with us. When we got back home today, they both slept all afternoon! I can't believe that Christmas has already come and gone. I'm looking forward to a new year!
Happy New Year!!!

ROLL TIDE!!!

I have been waiting all football season to type this post! You know us Bama fans...superstition. We kept winning so I stopped posting about football! Well, tonight we lost to Florida. We played great though. We were ahead until the 4th quarter. We have a great team and a great coach. The best team and the best coach! We had a great season...even though some people like to say we haven't played anyone. Plus! We beat that Auburn Tiger booty! I am so proud to be a Bama fan! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!

Come on!

Ok, it's over. Everyone knows who won the election last night. I mean, really, I already knew Obama would win. Now, hang on....let me climb on my soapbox. Everyone is so excited talking about how history has been made and this is such a big deal that Obama was elected President. But, they say, it's not because he's black. It's because he's a great American. Really? Why? First of all, he's as much white as he is black. So if you don't want to make this about race, don't even bring that up. If it's not about race, then why is he being President such a big deal? If he's looked at as a "great American" then this election is no more important than any other man who has had the privilege of being President of the United States of America. What has he done to be classified as a "great American"? I really hope that he does have a great plan. I hope he turns out to be a great President. But, I will never agree with what he stands for. So, the fact that Obama was elected does bother me. But what bothers me more is the ignorance in this country. Ok. I had to get that verbalized or written! The good thing is that I can rely on the truth and my faith. God is in control always and everything will be okay. I'll be praying. So, there you go! Thoughts?

VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!!!

Ok yall. This is it. Please go out and vote tomorrow. Please pray about this and keep Obama out of the White House! I'm not going to go into much detail, but I don't want to think about what this country will be like in 4 years. Redistribution of wealth? I don't think so. Everyone should have equal opportunities? Yeah! Get off your butts and find a job! Get loans to go to college! Since I work in home health, I get to see a lot of the lower SES neighborhoods. Let me tell you how sickening it is to see young people just sitting out on front porches, walking the streets and riding bicycles all day. You can't tell me that they can't make something of themselves. They just don't want to. So, why should my money from the job that I worked really hard to get, go to these people? It shouldn't! I'm still paying back my loans and will be for a few more years! Ok, I'm not going into this any further. You can read my cousins blog! http://www.tealeshusband.blogspot.com/ Lots of good points that everyone needs to think about before voting tomorrow. No, I don't agree with everything McCain stands for, but if I put him and Obama on a scale, McCain would win. It makes me so ill to think of people who aren't voting for either candidate tomorrow. They are writing in Ron Paul! What is that about? All I know is I don't want to hear anyone complaining about our next President if you don't vote tomorrow or write someone in. That's a waste! Ok peoples....GO VOTE!!!

WHOOP WHOOP! (and woof woof)

First of all, ROLL TIDE!!! That's right! We went to Atlanta for the game over the weekend and had an awesome time! Except for the fact that during the last half of the game I was in pain! Right before half time, out of nowhere, the outside of my right food begins to hurt. I couldn't move it or put a lot of pressure on it. So, I ended up going to First Aid for some meds. It finally quit hurting after walking miles in Atlanta and having to jump over the fence of Centennial Park! As you can tell it was a fun filled weekend! We stayed with our friends, Phillip and Ashley who live in Atlanta. The first pic is their son, Max. I've also added pics of Jake and Chloe. Jake, by the way is 6 months old now and weighs 60 lbs. , maybe more!!! ROLL TIDE!

Introducing... Jake!!!

Yes, we have a new addition to our family! Scott bought a chocolate lab yesterday. We finally decided to name him Jake, but haven't come up with his "official name" for the registration. Chloe had a hard time with this at first, but she's beginning to warm up to the idea of having a new playmate!

Fun at the park

Julie came to Tuscaloosa with the kids, so we took them to the park to play following a fun time in the mall! lol
